hello! my name is Nicole Leaw and i am a multidisciplinary designer, with skills spanning from website design, coding, animation, video editing, 3d art, communication design and 2d illustration.

i graduated with a double degree in Design and Information Technology, majoring in Communication Design and Interactive Media. thus i am very passionate about skills that allow me to combine both of these fields! ✧˖°

Many Narratives is a research project to compile Australian bathymetry and Aboriginal stories into an interactive website. UX/UI design for a mobile and desktop site, represented as a mockup in Figma. (Note: This project is ongoing.)
The Witch's Garden uses code to create a 3D space. This virtual diorama combines HTML, CSS and JS to make a fun, interactive experience for the user.
UX/UI design for a hypothetical Bubble Tea Festival made in Figma. Contains both desktop and mobile formats, with a focus on rounded and clean visuals. (Note: Designed for a smaller screen resolution.)
A Future Record is an experimental website to represent online identity using digital wearables. Aims to use bright colours and distinctive visuals, inspired by early 2000s websites.
A simple event directory made for the Museum of East Asian Mythology (MoEAM) based on Design Systems and Brand Guidelines created for the museum.

2D and 3D animation, and video editing using the Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro), DaVinci Resolve and a large range of 3D software.

An informative animation for kids, displayed at Little Food Festival, held at Federation Square in April 2023. Made with After Effects and Photoshop.
SOL is a 3D animated short film made with a group as my university capstone project.
In this highly collaborative process I was team lead, and contributed to character modelling/design, texturing, animation and composition/lighting. Made with Maya, Mudbox, Substance Painter, and Unity.
